Seeking therapy is often a sign that something deeply important in your life is asking for care and attention. Whether you’re feeling disconnected in your marriage, overwhelmed internally, or navigating the emotional changes of pregnancy or postpartum, therapy can offer a safe place to slow down, feel supported, and gently explore what’s happening beneath the surface.
Together, we can work toward meaningful & lasting change.
My practice is best suited for individuals and couples who are seeking growth, healing, and intentional change, rather than intensive or crisis-level care. If you’re longing for a supportive, collaborative space to build insight, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater peace, I would be honored to walk with you.
Investment starts at $160 per session.
I hold a BA in Psychology from the University of Tampa and a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, where my clinical training emphasized family systems, relational dynamics, and emotional healing.
My approach is grounded in a Catholic understanding of the human person. I have a deep respect for your faith journey, values, and the inherent dignity of each individual. Therapy is offered in a way that is evidence-based, non-judgmental, and fully integrated with the teachings of the Catholic faith.
I am a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with advanced training in trauma-informed practices, attachment-based care, and perinatal mood disorders. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in the safety of healthy relationships — with others, ourselves and with God.
You may be responding to stress, wounds, and life transitions in ways that once helped you survive and cope, yet are now holding you back from the life you dream of. With support, these patterns can be understood and healed. Change is possible.
As a fertility care practitioner, I also bring a unique understanding when marital stress is connected to fertility, reproductive health, or family planning decisions.
Marriage therapy is not only for couples in crisis. Many couples seek therapy to strengthen their bond, prepare for new seasons of life, or reconnect intentionally. Healing is possible, and change does not require perfection, only willingness.
Marriage is meant to be a place of safety, connection, and shared meaning, yet many couples find themselves stuck in cycles of conflict, distance, or feeling misunderstood. You may be having the same arguments over and over, struggling to feel close, or wondering how you drifted so far apart.
In marriage therapy, I help couples slow down and understand the deeper patterns shaping their relationship. Rather than focusing on blame, we explore attachment styles, stress, and emotional needs in order to rebuild safety, strengthen communication, and restore connection.
For clients who desire it, faith and spirituality can be an important element of our work together, in a way that supports healing without pressure or assumption.
The goal of individual therapy is not simply coping, but healing. Together, we work toward increased self-understanding, emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and a more grounded sense of peace.
Individual therapy offers space to better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that shape your inner world. You may feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or disconnected from who you want to be. You may be navigating a major life transition or carrying experiences from the past that still impact you today.
My approach integrates a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs, including polyvagal theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, inner child healing, somatic techniques, and narrative therapy. This holistic approach allows us to work not only with thoughts and behaviors, but also at the nervous system level where many patterns are stored.
This work is gentle yet profound. Motherhood changes you and support matters. Healing does not mean doing more or trying harder. It means being supported as your nervous system, identity, and relationships adjust.
Pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood are profound seasons of transition. While often portrayed as purely joyful, these seasons can also bring anxiety, sadness, identity shifts, relationship strain, and a deep sense of overwhelm. Many women struggle silently, unsure whether what they are experiencing is normal or whether they should be coping better.
I have specialized training in perinatal mental health and extensive experience supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting.
I have benefited tremendously from therapy. I was referred to Melissa at the perfect time in my life, and I truly believe that therapy saved me this year and is the reason I have grown so much. I learned how to believe in myself more, how to stand up for myself, and how to not let the little voices in my head keep me from chasing my dreams.”
Over the past couple weeks I’ve begun feeling the weight of the resentment I’ve carried with me for years slowly melting away…it’s noticeable…and a relief. Thank you for teaching us to communicate more effectively and respectfully…no simple task. But God knew who was right for the challenge"
Happy one year anniversary of starting therapy together! This may be goofy but I’ve always been an anniversary person. I can’t believe it’s been a full year since we spoke for the first time. I am so grateful for your guidance, listening ear, helpful advice, heart, and overall amazingness as a role model, business woman and child of God."

Therapy is not a sign of weakness, brokenness or defeat. It is a great act of love and an active choice to care for yourself well. Through understanding what you have been carrying, learning new ways of relating to yourself and others we are able to move toward a future marked by greater clarity, connection, and peace.
If you are ready to invest in your healing, your relationships, and your growth, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
