I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant with my third baby, which means it’s officially time to pack my hospital bag!
After two positive, unmedicated hospital births, I’ve learned what I truly use, love, and need during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Over time, I’ve narrowed my packing list down to the essentials that help me feel comfortable, supported, and prepared.
Of course, every mom & family is different, and preferences will vary. This is simply what has worked best for me. Take what’s helpful and leave the rest.
Before anything else, let me say this: do not forget the birth ball.
It has been absolutely necessary for me during labor and delivery. I will probably be using it right up until the moment we leave for the hospital, which is why it will be a last-minute toss into the car. If you are planning an unmedicated or low-intervention birth, this is a non-negotiable in my book.
An honorable mention goes to all of my Kindred Bravely favorites. Their pieces are incredibly soft, comfortable, and stretchy, which is exactly what I want to be wearing postpartum.
I’ve also always preferred wearing my own labor gown instead of a hospital gown. This one is beautiful, practical, and makes me feel more dignified and put together during such a vulnerable time.

Feel free to download it, print it, and personalize it to fit your needs. This is meant to be a guide, not a rulebook. I hope this helps you feel a little more prepared and at peace as you get closer to meeting your baby.
God bless you, pregnant mamas. I’m praying for each of you!
