A little about me

Hi, I'm Melissa! At the heart of all I do is a desire for healthy and holy families, for my own family and for yours as well. My husband, A.J., and I have been married for nearly eight years, and we have been blessed with three children.

I’ll never forget learning that the wellbeing of our world is deeply connected to the wellbeing of the family, and that the health of the family begins with the health of the couple. That insight shaped the direction of my life and work, sparking a passion for supporting women and couples in their relationships, emotional healing, and understanding of their fertility.

For the past decade, I have served as a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, walking primarily with Catholic individuals and couples through complex family dynamics, marriage challenges, interpersonal relationships, anxiety and postpartum mental health. My work is rooted in a Christ-centered understanding of the human person and integrates a collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to healing.

Life Outside the Office

A.J. and I met through our parish and were married in 2018. After infertility and with the help of NaProTechnology (and by the grace of God), we welcomed our three children. We love the outdoors, traveling, and turning everyday life into an adventure. Our family is grounded in the belief that God is always inviting us into deeper trust, joy, and hope.

The Heart Behind My Business

I fell in love with psychology in high school and later studied marriage and family therapy after a transformative study-abroad experience at The University of Notre Dame in Sydney, Australia. It was there that my heart for strengthening marriages and families was born.

During graduate school, I was introduced to natural family planning and true women's health care. What began as curiosity quickly became a calling. God eventually opened the door for me to become a Creighton Model FertilityCare Practitioner, allowing me to support women and couples in a deeply integrated way — emotionally, physically, relationally, and spiritually.

My favorite type of day is the morning after a big family party when everyone is still together, piled on the couch bonding over old stories, photo albums and Thai takeout. 


I love musicals, especially Les Mis & The Sound of Music


we have a family goal of attending Mass at all 120+ Catholic Churches in our Archdiocese.

Business Owner

When I went to grad school, I thought I was simply becoming a therapist. Little did I know, God had a much grander plan. Through each little "yes" He brought all the pieces together to create a business beyond my wildest dreams. Supporting healthy holy families through therapy, coaching and fertility care - and that's just the start!

Mama

I always dreamed of spending as much time with my little ones as possible. Homeschooling & going on adventures to the park are parts of our daily rhythm. My favorite part of motherhood is learning who God created each of them to be. Being their mom is one of my greatest gifts!

Wife

A.J. is the best man I know and it's an honor to be his wife. I learn from him every day and am inspired by his faith, devotion, heart for service, and humility.
