Finding a Catholic Young Adult Community in Miami
We were not made to go through life alone. We were built for community. Community consists of fellowship with others, based on a shared interest, belief, or goal. Community provides support, encouragement, education, opportunity for growth, a sense of belonging and so much more. As Catholics, it’s important to find community that shares the same faith and values. As young adults, it’s helpful to build community with those around the same age. If you are single, dating, engaged or married, it’s a gift to have community with others in that same life stage. Surrounding ourselves with likeminded individuals and couples is essential for success in every area of our lives. For those living in Miami, I want to make things VERY easy for you! Check out these resources and find a community that is right for you!

This is by no means an all inclusive list of even just the options for community in Miami. There are an incredible amount of groups all across the city, state, country and world! If you feel you are lacking community, I encourage you to do some searching and find out what groups are already active near you.
If for some reason you can’t find any at all, or don’t like the options you see, take that as a nudge to start building a community of your own! Somebody has to start it, and maybe it’s YOU that your community is waiting for! To start, all you have to do is invite one other person. Be intentional, pray together, read, watch videos, talk, ask questions, grow. Invite others when you see them at Mass, around the neighborhood, through friends, wherever!
We are made for community. Community helps us grow and makes us stronger. Community helps us to thrive in our families, workplace, relationships and marriages. I hope this blog post helps you on your journey to finding community. If you have other community resources, whether in South Florida or in other areas, feel free to drop links in the comments below for others to find as well! The more the merrier! Don’t stop searching until you’ve found your people. They are waiting for you!
